Welcome to The Cove!
The Cove, a retro, nautical-themed bar and restaurant, is the kind of place you see everywhere in New Orleans. We specialize in fresh oysters and classically prepared cocktails.
The décor and dimmed lighting offer an intimate setting where you can savor delicious seafood, panini, and pizzas. With the most extensive drinks menu in town, you can enjoy one of over 50 of our famous libations.
Music, ranging from bluegrass to jazz to folk, can be heard some evenings. (Check our listings in The Memphis Flyer’s After Dark schedule.)
The Cove is an out of the way hangout on the edge of Midtown for those 21 and older — meaning yes, smoking is allowed! So, come and experience the atmosphere, food, and spirits that will satisfy that “Big Easy” soft spot in us all!
Meet the Sazerac…
The Cove is becoming widely known for its meticulous preparation of one of the oldest known cocktails with its origins in pre-Civil War New Orleans. We honor the original recipe established in 1793 using the prescribed rye whiskey and absinthe. For the cocktail adventurer, the experience of our house specialty definitely should not be missed.
Come see what's going on!
